Interior Styling
The art of styling begins with an understanding of the client's target audience and involves a number of different skills from finding locations, sourcing props and choosing colour schemes to designing room sets, dressing models, and liaising with the client, the art director, photographers and set-builders.
Art Direction
As an Art Director I am responsible for the overall look and feel of a photo shoot and will advise stylists on the mood they need to achieve, guide photographers on lighting and angles, and brief set-builders on the decor. My aim is to ensure the client's products achieve maximum exposure and the end result is on brief.
Set Design
The key to successful set design is a knowledge of scale, proportion, and an eye for detail. A set may be as simple as a single back wall or as complex as an entire room which authentically replicates a particular style of interior be it rustic or contemporary.
